Ahmed Janka Nabay is reportedly the first person to actually record the style, a rhythmic, danceable ensemble work requiring up to 20 musicians, and for his upcoming sophomore album he recruited members of Skeletons, Gang Gang Dance and Starring - all Brooklyn hipster royalty - to help him lay down En Say Yah, his first album for David Byrne's Luaka Bop imprint.
